View Full Version : the AI needs some tweaking !

Im finding that frequently my squad refuses to obey orders or does really dumb stuff that gets them killed. For example ...
If I want to move them just a few yards to a better position (from A to B) I right click the blue circle on the ground at B and they do nothing. I have to send them further away to C then click the ground at B for them to move there.
Also if I click a point close to a wall for them to seek shelter there they will often run around to the other side of the wall and get killed.
This game tries to blend 'Hidden and Dangerous' with 'Call of Duty ' but for me, so far, it falls well short of either.

I do admit, they A.I. is not the greatest, but it is the best I have seen in any game so far.
Just get used to it, every game has a few problems.

Very true - I just hope they can tweak it up with a patch. For me gameplay is everything and the squads AI is a big part of that in this game. I couldnt give a monkeys about the graphics or EAX etc ... I want to be able to control my squads properly and get all my guys through alive.

Im sure they will tweak it...and i agree with you about the AI....it gets annoying.

The A.I. can get stupid. I tell them to go by some cover and they run out and get shot.
I am like - WTF GARNETT AND ALLEN.
The best part was, in the mission where you got to blow up the tank with a panzerfaust.
A german through a nade and blew one whole team up. I forgot if it was fire or assault.
I was like - OMG WTF?!?!?!
