im curious to see how it will be set up in competition since you must rank up in order to use alot of weapons.

I don't know the maps real well yet, so I just got flanked and pounded like crazy. I look at it as being hazed into the next "crack on a disk" game of 2008 though! This game is for realz people. Out of the maps we are given, i think i like Vacent the best. There are just so many possibility's for combat. Its definetly the fastest paced. Crash is o.k hopefully the rest of the maps are solid.

I have been absolutely loving this game. However, a few gripes - but hey, that's what the beta is for!

Respawning - no respawn invulnerability at all, and many times I've respawned in almost the same spot where I died - therefore, you get get killed again. Also, nothing sucks worse than respawning right in the middle of an airstrike.

Sniping - seems that the sniper rifles don't really do a whole lot of damage, especially compared to some of the other weapons. There have been countless times where I've drawn a bead on someone, gotten a nice clean shot (even head shots sometimes), and -nothing-. It usually takes me a couple of shots to kill someone with the sniper rifle.

If they are using Juggernaut one shot will not kill them. This game is a lot of fun. That would be sweet if we could set up a custom game. Quick! Someone figure out a workaround.

Of note. Gamespot.com has been giving out 100,000 tokens a day all week long. And. They were given immediately upon signup as long as there was some left. Too late now but. Keep your eyes open if you don't have one cause, I'm sure someone will be giving them out next week as well.

Yep. That's how I got mine but it was 20,000 per day, 100,000 total. Rocks managed to get one from them today too.
