Hi everyone,
Must say that this game is KILLER!
But the only reason i will not give it a perfect is the buggy system it is.
Maybe once or twice a minute it will slow down a bit, and then be ok.
I`m running a fairly decent computer for this with everything driverd up.
Specs are amd 64 athlon 3500xp
2 gigs ddr 800 ram
Nvidia Geforce 7800 gt overclocked a bit
and call of duty 4 runs way better than this and has just as good and if not better graphics.
But in cod 4 you can tweak the console a bit to remove decals and such.
And this game RSV2 does not have much of a video settings to change up stuff.
So any adivce for adding some tweaks in the console would be awesome.
Thanks all
Look for me!

Try setting antialiasing to "None"
Turn Vertical sync "Off"

Then play with resolution (Probably around 1024 x 768) and other settings until you find something that works for you!

Turn post-processing effects OFF (i.e. FALSE in INI file).

WONT THAT GET YOU KICKED BY PUNKBUSTER?

Yes!
Changing ini files can get you kicked or banned from a server running Punkbuster.

I don't know if that particular change would result in a PB ban, but it could!

I guess you would have to try it to find out!!
I would suggest backing up files before you make any changes!

It's nice to see players trying to help new players with gaming issues. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Kind of rare these days!!
And help from anyone with Ubisoft is non-exsistant!!

ok i`ve already had things on low,
but it seems it still lags a bit
and ya overclocking a bit but not much to where it overheats,
it did the same amount of lag performance without it.
So are you guys sure there is nothing in the console to add some tweaks?

i have no idea what everyone else is goin on about but other then setting your driver to high performance in the drivers vegas 2 profile, and turning down the in game settings, there isnt much you can do without moding system files which, in my experience, didnt do squat and in some cases hindered performance. With the system as you describe it i would be happy as heck if you are getting 25-30fps. No offense to your system but this game is a hog and probably the least efficient of all games out there using the ut3 engine.

Here is what you and all other Nvidia users can do.
GO to Nvidia control panel and on the left hand side choose mange 3D settings, find your game in the box and click on it, in this case "tom clancy's vegas 2"
at the bottom box change all the settings you want, Like AA, Vsync.... and apply, this will force your game to run with those settings.
Hope this helps!

I think making it so the gun's bullets shoot more accurately and things being a bit more fair online(not fair example: getting killed by 1 skorpian bullet to the body even if you dodged it or have anaconda and you dont survive 1 bullet to the leg or torsoe after you shoot him a ridiculous amount of times having 98% of your bullets hitting him in vital points)
