As the subject line implies...
Is there a way to check to see what version you are running?

I downloaded 1.4B, but I don't recall if I installed it or not...I have the GW mod installed so I'm not sure if I will need to uninstall GW to put 1.4B in.

It should show the version number in the bottom right corner of the main menu screen (the one with the video sequence top right).

Another way to check is to find your game application ('sh3.exe' in the Silent Hunter III folder), right-click on the 'sh3.exe' icon, select 'Properties', select the 'Version' tab.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Also - if you haven't got 1.4b installed, you will probably need to re-install the game and GW.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I just checked my version number and it said 1.4.0.1 is that the same as 1.4b?

Yes, 1.4.0.1 in the properties screen means you are patched to 1.4b (I'm saying that because mine is exactly the same).

good. I was a little worried as the patch I got from the SHIII website said it was going to update my game from 1.0 to 1.3
