I can install the game with no probs but when i come to run the game it states that there is no disk in the drive.
Can anybody help me?

do u have more than one cd drive or dvd drive? i have to have my cd in my "d" drive not my "e" drive..

I'm getting the same problem, I own the oem copy of farcry that comes with an athlon 64 cpu, and ive got a lite-on cd burner 52 x .
I heard something about farcry having problems with cdr or dvdr drives.
Athlon 64 3200 , 1024 mb ram, 6800 gt.

To anyone with this problem!

Download Alchohol 120% and burn an image of far cry onto your hard drive.Or one thing I found worked was to log on as another user if you hve XP

My spec:AMD athlon xp 2400+(2.00ghz)
512mb of 2700 crucial ram
Nvidia geforce fx 5200(128mb)
16x MSI dvd-rom
16xdvd-writer(nec)
56x cd-rom
XP professional sp2
