I cant seriously believe that NOT ONE American has signed up for Sundays match. FALLEN CHAMP is sending me hourly emails about how the Euro's are going to kick some American butt come Sunday ... something about making us all "swim in the pond" ... He already has a full 8 players willing to take part in the match, with backups!

I cant really believe that you guys and girls would sit back and let the Brits and the rest of them talk smack about open a can of whupass on us? Is it seriously going to only be me? Im hoping not.

I thought the community was getting stronger.

On fcmaps.net almost 400 map files added in less than a month, ebstone runs dedicated every tuesday along with brimtown, Sunday sessions if popular could be USA Vs EUROPE, If works maps could be arranged to host along with game modes etc, Maybe leaderboards, Its a bit of fun at the end of the day with decent folk that want to play the game.

I sent 30 invites, There will be only 16 spaces, If this works ebstone will have to expand and find others who can host. I will even send an invite to UBI 01 & 02 ones French the others USA right, Could be fun if they show their face. All welcome but first come first served. Send ebstone a F.R. EUROPE are full up with players, We needed 8 we have 12 (providing everyone shows who said they were a definate) If EB can't get the service then we will have to loan him some.

TACTICAL RECON said he will try to make it, Also KOPA HAN & s***grief said they would attend. I just hope there are no big problems as the room can only take 16 players obviously.

If this runs ok, Then i am sure EB will try to make it regular on a Sunday and the banter and wind ups will keep on coming.

So if you cant get in the room dont worry, This will hopefully happen again and maybe even 2 rooms next week. Hopefully people will leave feedback as to sugestions or tips.

I like the way BRIMTOWN puts the maps up an hour before for a minute each so people can grab the maps before which cuts out lag.

I will let you know how it goes. I have been shouting my mouth off a lot, But hey these things need hype and what better way to do it then wind people up and set them a challenge.

Hopefully there will be some stock maps, Some of EBs maps and I have selected 4, As ebstone is more into Island type maps i selected some of those.

Hopefully i will get the map list on here Saturday night, I need to pass those maps to EB and have a quick chat, We are both busy at work at present and the timezones dont help. I will also try to run as host for some that want the maps Saturday night, Be patient as i can only have about 6-8 in the room.

I want to thank the MANY American players who responded to the call of arms! You will be getting a response from me with the next day or so. Im still going through the inbox.

Ok, some more info. YES, WITHOUT A DOUBT, there will be an exspansion of this tournamant BEYOND Sunday. That will depend on several things, many that are still in the planning stages. If it goes off with great success, then it WILL exspand. We have several that have contacated me with offers to help out should I and FALLEN need it (and we will! LOL). This includes, hosting additional rooms, EXCLUSIVE maps to the tournament, and contests.

Its going to need YOUR community input. If you want to jump in and do something now, post your ideas on how this could become bigger. We are open to anything ...

So, if you contact myself or FALLEN, please be patiant as we are organizing the teams, map selection etc ... REMEMBER, this is ONLY the PRELIMINARY match. We are in hopes to exspnd into as many countries as their are players, with many rooms running at once on any given day.

Now, onto other matters. FALLEN? Yeah, we didnt have many for America yesterday. Thats changed my friend. We even have recuited our northern Canadian brothers to come and kick your arse as well ... BTW, they are bringing the beer as well ... LOL ...

I don't have FL room right now b/e I have to save a spot for a chromehounds squad I'm joining this weekend...but I do have FALLEN on my current FL, so I could join off of him if needed. (I'll also try to find ebstone's dedicated to get it in my "recently played with list")

The game type for SUNDAY will be TEAM CHAOS (this time) But steal the sample will play a part in future tournaments should they happen.

When speaking with people in games MwC Phidave will remember - the subject of Seek And Secure came up, Now most map makers include this mode but no-one plays it. With the right people in the room I think Seek And Secure could be as good as any of the other modes easily. So that could also become a possibility.

I dont want to say too much as its EB (ebstone) who is doing all the work, I am just hyping the game up a little and have sent a few invites out. It looks like there will be 2 rooms for 2 hours a piece, 1 will start then when that finishes the next will start with fresh players.

EB has the players now so its on,
He will put up a post later today with everything you need to know.
