THE RAINBOW SIX: VEGAS 2 SCAVENGER HUNT, BROUGHT TO YOU BY TROPIC THUNDER - OFFICIAL RULES
1) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) on July 18, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PT) on August 25, 2008 ("Promotion Period"). The winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.
2) HOW TO ENTER/SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
Method #1 Entering via Gameplay & Cell Phone Text Messaging: During the Promotion Period play Ubisoft's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 on either the Xbox 360 or the PC platform. Complete the "Scavenger Hunt" inside the game. During the scavenger hunt, locate the text message "short code" required for entry and then using a multimedia message service (MMS) capable mobile phone, text message your e-mail address to the "short code" provided to obtain one (1) entry.
Alternate Mail-in Method: Hand print your complete name, address, and e-mail address (if any) on a 3" X 5" piece of paper and mail it to: The Rainbow Six Tropic Thunder Sweepstakes, PO Box 4051, Grand Rapids, MN 55730-4051. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 25, 2008 and received by August 29, 2008 to be eligible. No other methods of entry will be accepted.
Limit one (1) entry per person regardless of method of entry. Multiple entries submitted by a single entrant, whether via mail-in or online, are void.
Entrants who submit entries via text messaging will be charged according to the text messaging rates agreed upon by his or her provider and entrant agrees to look to such providers for pricing information and details. By entering this promotion by text messaging, entrant authorizes the Sponsor to send the entrant text messaging address to its designated agents for the purposes of conducting this promotion as described in these rules.
Entrants must provide all required information either by text messaging or by U.S. Mail to be eligible. Tropic Thunder Movie Pack Prize Drawing: A random drawing will be conducted on or about July 31, 2008 from among all eligible entries that have been properly received by text messaging between July 18, 2008 - July 25, 2008 and by U.S. Mail, postmarked by July 25, 2008 and received by July 31, 2008. Odds of winning a Tropic Thunder Movie Pack Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winning and non-winning entries will also be eligible for the Grand and First Prize drawings.
Grand and First Prize Drawing: The winners of the Grand and First Prizes will be selected in a random drawing on or about August 29, 2008 from among all eligible entries received during the entire Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Marden-Kane Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on matters relating to this sweepstakes.
4) PRIZE:
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: An Xbox 360 Elite gaming console, one (1) copy of Ubisoft's "Brothers in Arms" and a one (1) year Gold Membership subscription to Xbox Live. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of Grand Prize: $600. Ten (10) First Prizes will be awarded: A copy of Ubisoft's "Brothers in Arms." ARV: $60 each. Twenty Five (25) Tropic Thunder Movie Pack Prizes will be awarded: A Tropic Thunder Movie Pack, consisting of two movie tickets for the motion picture Tropic Thunder, a Tropic Thunder T-Shirt and a Tropic Thunder Hat. ARV: $40 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $2,160. All taxes and any other costs related to the prizes not specifically stated within these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes will be awarded by U.S. mail and/or e-mail. No substitution, cash redemption, assignment, of prize permitted. However, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value in the event a prize is unavailable. Any and all guarantees and warranties for merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.
5) ELIGIBILITY:
