View Full Version : I can't save my game due to missing privilege.....

I just bought this game, The Settlers 7, yesterday. I was able to install and play it, but I can't save my games online....
The message says: "UNAVAILABLE SAVEGAMES- One or more savegames containing DLC are unavailable due to missing privileges".
Is there any possibility that I can save my games on my computer?

That just means that you have savegames from maps which you have not unlocked (which will then not be shown in the list).
I wonder how you got them...?

Yea, I have this same problem. Your idea of the cause must be incorrect, since I'm saving on the very VERY first CAMPAIGN map. Does this mean I can't save until I've fully completed the map?

The error does not mean you're not allowed to save.
It just says that there are savegames on your disk which you are currently not allowed to load and which are therefore not displayed (not necessarily related to DLC - that part is a bit misleading)

Is your savegame from campaign map 1 showing up? - are there any savegames missing from your list?

There are no save files, even though I've saved several times. Always gotten the "Savegames containing DLC are unavailable due to missing privileges"

Ok, we managed to reproduce this issue - it looks like you are offline (no green light in the main menu) and have not yet finished the first map?
Finishing the first map and/or making sure you're connected to the profile servers should solve the problem.

Hi all, can anyone let me know what the story is, i downloaded the game directly from ubisoft a few days ago, without reading the forums first unfotunately.I have the Latest patch and I opened all suggested ports and I have logged into my realm online(left for an hour),but nothing works.I can run the game no problem but thats it, it keeps saying for multiplayer server problems and when I load a campaign nothing works on map no building any construction, just an arrow pointing at overpopulation, please someone help anyone any suggestions, from tech staff or good hearted settlers fans, no body is responding to any posts I've made thus far, so want to play this
