This is being released on XBLA this summer; if it's anywhere near as good as the demo (posted last year), this could easily be the best terrain-creating tool for consoles thus far.
If this can be done with an XBLA game, there's no reason why Far Cry 3 shouldn't have amazing terrain creating tools. And no more excuses about how they can't do waterfalls http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

what engine is this? Im not too sure Dunia is powerful enough to handle such large scale(har dee har har) terrain change

Hey brim - I've been watching this game since it was announced last year. The terrain building is amazing, but unfortunately they've had to script the gameplay more than they originally intended. Still looking forward to it when it's finally released.
Ubi owns the tech, and it would be the perfect addition to the Far Cry editor.

Water physic yes, but theres no on demand erosion tools.

IT is made with the DUNIA Engine. The way it forms terrain is exactly the same.

The editor looks VERY FC2'ish do you reckon they could be using this editor as a form of "Beta" for a Far Cry 3 map editor? that would be awesome if it was if so that would mean WATERFALLS! just a though i just put 2 and 2 together as they look very similar
