Hi, i am wondering what Haze is like because i am interested in purchasing it. But i want to know if it is the same thing is Crysis, but on the PS3.

Not even close, but you should be ready for a very unforgiving storyline, no holding back and just plain pointless unjustified killing, with a very gripping emotional content, and (oh ****!) you have to use your head in some of the story, and as for the multi player, with a patch or two, will be unsurpassed.

Agree. Only similarity to crysis is the fact this is an FPS. Definitely haze is it's own game. And i also agree, with a couple patches, this game could easily be made MUCH better.

Haze is nothing like Crysis... and considering the price of the PS3, not really a poor mans's choice either... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
If you can stomach cheesy dialog and really crappy allies' AI, then this is the game for you. The game's finale is weak. (Very anti-climatic...) The story's ending makes you wonder what just happened...
I can probably say the game probably suffers from the result of over ambition. Their are under developed ideas left right and centre in this game.
Like the idea that Nectar hides the unpleasant from the user. Or the idea of weapon stealing. Or branching storylines... etc...
The multiplayer is far more fun. Though it needs more variety on the game types.
Without on-line play, the replayability of the game is questionable.
Is it worth playing? I would say yes. Is it the block buster it was built of as? I would say no.

Do you have crysis or not? Because if not, you're gonna need a souped up computer to play it. The best part of the game is the graphics for sure, and its amazing physics engine, however its gameplay and story line are still structured very very well.
Haze is all about the gameplay, IMO the gameplay level is about the same as crysis but you are missing out on super sexual graphics. Although, i'd still say haze is worth getting, i loved it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.
P.S whilst the voice acting wasn't brilliant, i really wouldn't say that it was THAT bad, like, some people are saying that it was so bad they couldn't bear to listen, i didn't find it incredibly bad. They told their story, and told it with emphasis, even though it sounded primarily fake, it was still good enough..
Anyway thats my pointless rant, bye!
