The radio that is played reminds me of military reporting for soldiers to know what is happening in the world.

It is a conflict, that can be sure of. But What are the two sides? I know that the war seems to beased at Europe and in america, but it doesn't mention who the opposing force is, it is definetly not between America and Europe. It can't be purely terrorist because of the scale of it all.

The war seems to be taking its toll on the american and european forces, "PARIS HAS BEEN LOST" and the Capital of the US has been moved to boston.

On the radio there is a significant bit where it mentions the Paris battle where european forces are out by such and such a force, I cant really tell becaus it goes fuzzy, but it does sound like US or something with s in it.

Try and find out, I know I will so it may be a war between Europe and America afterall. It must be said that the war is not a world war, due the world cup and people escaping to asia and such, it is just in america and europe probably in france.

I noticed that too and in the audio file "final prep" the person talking is speaking in Italian. I don't what he is saying but I'll try to get a rough translation later.

Ye that seemed weird to me too, based on the fact Germany has one of the strongest militaries in Europe and (no offense to Spain) i would of thought it would be the Main 3 (UK, France, Germany) so something must of happened to rest of Europe. Also the fact that their is major defensives in France, could mean that the rest of Europe to the East is occupied by Enemy Forces...

:P i was kidding, but the site www.rev64.com (http://www.rev64.com) (Revelation 6:4) which goes straight to http://jsf28555833-80604722.com/ points to the Apocalypse, so IMO the game is probably going to be about the end of the world w/e game it is.

I thought about the possibility that Italy is part of the opposing force - in the written news brief it talks about controversy with the Swiss freight tunnels b/c they are being used for military materiel for "European belligerents..." and other countries want those rail lines available for people "fleeing the war-torn regions to the south."

Of course, this could be a reference to Spain and the Iberian peninsula, which is already an established area of conflict.

So, maybe Russian neo-fascists and Italians? Asia does not seem involved with the war at this point, but Russia's allies could include Angola and Venezuela, who, if I remember correctly, are members of the the new energy combine that arose after the collapse of OPEC.

It seems that the news would indicate there are more members. Perhaps the news didn't cover them all...or it cuts out? I think the "EF" is just 2026's "EU"

That's a decent theory, but there are a couple of rubs. The EU was built first around mutually beneficial economic cooperation, and then later there were the security pacts. Under current conditions an economic split in the EU would be bad for each individual country and for Europe as a whole. What would have to happen for the EU to split and redesignate itself?

Also, think about the text news briefs. There is argument in Europe about the use of Swiss freight lines, but not so much as to indicate that anyone is willing to fight anyone else over it. Also, a passenger jet was shot down in Ireland, crashing on the southern end of the country. This, to me, would seem to imply that the aircraft was damaged fairly close by and forced to crash-land before it could reach Shannon.

So who could have fired on this jet and still left it enough time to limp into S Ireland and crash? I'd say either Britain, France, or a sea-based firing by a "belligerent." Also, I'm interested by the reference to the EF Wartime Aviation Administration, almost as if not only the EFWAA but the EF itself area recent creations.
