Need help with the first campaign

Hi all!
I need help getting through the first campaign. I'm on the last chapter, sending Goric (cant remember his name) through the garrison to find Nicolai. Problem is, there is way too many enemies! Is there no other way through?
It seems like my only option is too just press end turn for weeks and weeks to get enough troops so I can brake through the garrison....
Hope someone can help me - coz I'm STUCK! :P

AFAIR - do all your things as you have to, then go and find Nicolai. About 10-15 Archangels should be enough for Godric to have him not be attacked by the enemy. Simply do it as fast as possible. As I remembered, it worked.

i remember similar problem my friend had...He killed some Demon lord who supposed to kill nicolai(sry spoiler) and he couldnt pass companing cuz nicolai was walking alive so had to cheat win.
