Maybe a few "bast***'s" or "da**'s" once in awhile. Not too much, you shouldn't worry bout it

The first word Desmond says is b**tard. Lol. I would say that there is language in AC.

Ill put it easier for you

C U Next Tuesday

But yeah, some Bas tards and such, but nothing voer the top, just lie to them that they are pronouncing it wrong. And 12 year olds are into violence so dont worry, or atleast i was into violence.

so i guess we can conclude by saying there is not a lot of cursing just some bas***ds and dam*s here and there but nothing over the top that i should be worried about but im still not sure about the see you next tuesday

All I heard throughout the game was one, maybe two, F words said by Desmond. When playing in Atair's era, that word is never used...

There's a few lesser insults like d**k and "who stuck the stick up his ***" and "nutjobs" etc

I dont think it's good for a 5 year old. Not at all. But, like has been mentioned before, just turn the vomlume down or something when he's nearby. It won't be for very long, as the only sections with real cursing in them are the sections with Desmond, and those aren't very long.

Lol, I think it's funny that you're worried about the language in a game where you murder people in cold blood. If the violence isn't going to do him harm, niether will the language content.

Im sure when i was 5 i was playing GTA games....And ive turned out to be a nice guy. Violence is good in games, normally stops you doing it in real life. Well, thats my viewon it any ways.

i dont think violence makes a difference one way or the other, and games never really influenced me to use bad language. i wouldnt play it in front of your kid unless/until he is smart enough to understand that not everything he sees/hears needs to be repeated.

So blood, gore and mayhem is OK for a five year old to watch, as long as no one says dirty words?

Yer bloody Americans! :P

Oh, if you think the strong language is bad, you should not buy Assassin's Creed. The language does not contain that much cursing - I can't even remember where they would curse in the game.

What you need to ask yourself is: You have a five year old running around the house, and you want to buy assassin's creed? Where you need to assassinate and kill people, spy on them and interrogate certain individual.. and you're worried about strong language?

All that your son could learn language-wise from this game is how they used to speak english, the older english. You should be more concerned to the fact that you're running around the city with swords, killing people.
