OK, I will stay calm and be pateint. I know many people are having major issues with it also.
Here's the problem; Like many others, the game turns white and locks up on me. I took all the normal precautions before downloading. I have been playing PC games for a couple of years and this is not my first flight sim game. I have many others (without going into names). I have tried many of the recommended remedies, graphic settings, video drivers, turn off other running programs, ect.
pentium 3, 1 gig
512 ram
radeon 9000 series, 128mg, Direct x 8.1 supported (clearly stated on box).
win 98 se
furthermore my PC is kept maintained, clean of garbage, and otherwise performs quite well.I believe after the gaming I have done in the past I have learned how to get maximum performance from my computer.
Here's my biggest gripe; I meet all the minimum system requirements, I have followed the lomac site for some time. I have watched all the videos, downloaded the demo (worked fine), and had every reason to believe this game would work on my machine. So $40 later and several wasted hours, back to CFS2 I guess? If this game only works with pent.4 and XP, fine, I just wish I knew first. If that is what it takes then it will sit on the shelf 'till my next major upgrade. Maybe by then it will be patched up as well.
I would be greatful for any other advise.

Just making sure /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif What did you download?

Also some people found turning off hardware curser in the Ati control panel cleared things up.
