We only have FB, I'm assuming we will need to purchase Aces and PF, which isn't a problem. We are looking to join a squadron for fun online games when we purchase the full package, but we're going to need some training. As we couldn't find any local retailers selling FB we downloaded it from online, which unfortunately doesn't come with a manual.

So basically we're looking for a very accepting group that will help us learn the nuances of the game. We're not the type to get really committed to playing clan battles etc, just looking for some regular fun online battles. Any groups out there fit the description?

Heya!

I'm Waver, the C/O of VFA25 "Fist of the Fleet."
Currently we are looking for new pilots to help us continue our squadrons legacy. We are coming up on our 10 year anniversary.

We offer a training program, which we have fine tuned over the course of 8 years.

We are having problems with our forum today, so please email me at waverip@waverip.com if you're intrested.

Roger and Charlie,

I remember the first time I got this game in my hands and it was a bit tough starting up.

We are a bunch of slightly older guys, 50% of us are over 30 and we would be really happy to help you get setup and walk you through all the basics.

Should you join us, you will also benefit from our Flight School Program that spans over several months and takes you through the very first steps in flying (and nuances of the game) all the way up to the most advanced squadron tactics.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Roger,

The Fightin' Irish (http://www.fighting-irish.org) would be happy to take you and your friend under our wing and teach a few nuances to you. We are a casual group. We meet whenever we have the time. There are no pressures to score high or win. I am a retired commercial pilot and could teach you real-life stuff and many of our Erin aces can give the fighter, ground assault and bomber training to you. Our forums are full of all the technical help you may need.

Best of luck finding just the right group,

:FI:Falcon

You don't say where you are or which time zone you are in.

The Wedge Tailed Eagles are the largest Australasian group which means we have plenty of old hands around to teach. We also cater for everyone of all statndards. Your ability is not important - your attitude is.
