Hi, i have been reading this forum for answers to my graphics problem but have not found any solution. I have just built my comp from ground up. The specs of my comp are...

Motherboard: Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe
Processor: AMD FX 60 (Dual Core)
RAM: 2 gigs Crossoirs XMX
Graphics Card: HIS Radeon x1900 xtx 512mb
Sound Card: Creative Lab Xtreme Fidelity Platium

The problem I have is the game renders the graphics at the lowest possible setting no matter what i do. Now with this rig i'd thought it can run Farcry no sweat. I can run F.E.A.R. without a hic-cup and it's more graphic process demanding.

Here's what i tried base on suggestions from past forum posts...

updated lastest motherboard driver
updated lastest bios for motherboard
updated latest amd processor driver
updated ati catalyst driver to 6.5 version
updated Farcry patch to 1.33

i have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and patches to no avail. i've messed with the in-game settings changing resolution sizes and different video settings from low to very high. but no matter what i do the graphics still looks poor, like very pixelated with no signs of anti-aliasing.

Needless to say I am very fustrated by now and any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

I'm having problems with an X1900 XT too. It isn't what you describe but I get all kinds of polygon artifacts at times. No other game does this. Like you, I can run FEAR on max with no issues.
