You know what I don't understand? Why would I pay for this and play in 720p on my PS3 when I can just play my PC copies in 1080p?

The only reason I would get it is for the trophies and to avoid some glitches in the PC versions of SC1 and PT.

If it has spy vs merc in widescreen, I'll buy it for my PS3 and play it to no end. Granted, I'd prefer it on the 360, or better yet patches for the PC versions, but I doubt Ubi will do anything like that. I'm suspect we won't get spy vs merc on in the PS3 collection at all, and wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't even have any bug fixes.

Has Ubi even released any notable information on the collection yet? I can't help but be interested because it is Splinter Cell, but at this point I'm rather expecting to be disappointed.
