Can somebody tell me how to do it please?

I have no idea to block an airstrike with electronic warfare.

Does anybody know how to do it?

It's extremely ****ing difficult, to say the least.

That being said, I just got mine a couple battles ago when I EMPed a hostile gunship and when the jets happened to be flying over http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif No idea when I got the other 4, had tried a few times unsuccessfully then decided to never waste CP on it again.

16. How the heck am I supposed to stop an airstrike with electronic warfare for the "Air Defense" achievement?
The air strikes come in from behind the enemy deployment area. You have to have a spotting unit near there and hit the incoming fighter jets (they will have a red IFF icon) with an EMP. You need to be fast, and the target of the air strike has to be somewhere between halfway and all the way across the map otherwise the EMP won't hit in time. Needless to say this is bloody difficult and damn near impossible to do in the heat of battle. It is possible to obtain this achievement in skirmish mode, though I've never been a huge advocate of boosting. (Source: barbarism2008)

you have to timed it just right or by luck

It's not difficult at all.
It works best on a map where you and your opponent are at opposite end of the map.
Steps;
(1)Have most of your unit at your deployment zone.
(2)Sneak a Rifleman squad behind enemy Defensive line. DO NOT DEEPSTIKE, this will get the opponents attention, move by transport halfway then move by foot using the terrain for cover and concealment.
(3)Once Rifleman is in position, you will be able to spot the enemy's JET and use EW on it.

Note; This must be done before the jet crosses the halfway mark of its destination. Only works if the destination is in vicinity of your deployment area.

It's difficult to do it on purpose. EW has an annoyingly long trigger time. Most of the airstrikes i've stopped were an accidental byproduct of hitting enemy units with EW.

I got it extremely easy, Im JSF

On 2vs2, the was defending my uplinks while my buddy was attacking, and the Russians are airstrike spammers

And after DEFCON, you can see all of the things that are coming, so hit LB ( 360 ) choose EW and target, right when you see it says hostile strike fighters zap them, and it should work like RIGHT before they drop the bomb or whatev, but you have to have time, they gotta airstrike something at your spawn
