For history class, we have to do projects about WW1, and luckily for me, U-boats and Naval Warfare is one of the topics. So I've made this thread, if you wish to add a little of your knowledge about WW1 U-boats or Naval combat, please share!

Can you be a little more specific about the kind of info you need?

Also, try searching the forum for 'WW1' 'World War 1' or 'First world war'. There have been quite a few interesting threads about U-boats in WW1 in the forum.

Wikipedia would probably give you much of what you may need to know too.

You must mention Otto Weddigen, U-9, and his daring attack on three British cruisers in Firth of Forth.

Weddingen did sink three RN armoured cruisers with the U-9......... but nowhere near the Firth of Forth.
