I just find that younger players are more competitive than more elderly players. I like the less competitive, more laid back atmosphere. Just a personal preference. ----- Then there are always personal matches... against people whom you may encounter throughout a normal day... whom you need to seriously WHIP. --- Its about the bragging rights in those situations fellas. Hands down.

I'm "only" 17 but never really behaved like a kiddo. Never. Must be my shyness; always been shy and always will be I guess. Somehow I even like that.
I am fully aware that I am not yet mature however, even so, I think I can say that I could be considered more mature than some other ppl that are a lot older then me.
So let's just finish this of with this: I don't care wheter the person I play with is older or younger than me, as long as the person respects me and shows a minimum of maturity...

Man, I'm late 30's and do I feel old. I would rather play with older players becasue they seem to care less about winning and more about just playing the game. No offense to the younger people here but maturity is more important to me in online gaming than actually winning.

Don't buy into the socialization that our society would have you believe about turning 30. Look at what Lance Armstrong has accomplished after the age of 30. Several of the doctors in the E.R. where I work still play PC and console games (they are all way over 30 and have families), so don't let whatever you think turning 30 means get you down.

But seriously, I think Chairmaker is right. People (especially when they're turning 30) tend to react kinda neurotically about what some developmental psychologists call "age-30 transition", which describes the stage of early adulthood ranging from ages 28 - 33 and in which some changes - more or less radical -might occur in one's life structure.

Personally I feel better and healthier today than ten years ago when I was at the college. I do a lot more sports and I stopped smoking.
Well, I dunno if I'm already too old to play computer games, although I'm not a hardcore gamer. Actually I'd consider games to be just another form of amusement, like watching movies or reading books and I seriously doubt that one could get too old for that kind of stuff.

I think generaly that XBOX Live users are not the age that that kid is.
