Take it easy on the throttle. Rapid movement of the throttles on a jet will cause the engine to catch on fire. The Komet and the BI-1 are rocket planes and you can move the throttle as fast as you want on these planes.

I've flown a jet battle or two in my day. Easy throttle movements are the name of the game. Don't worry if you flameout during High G or high AOA manouvers, you can restart. Got into a vert scissors with a 262 the other day. At the top of the 3rd set of turns, I flamed out (P-80), and he lost his port engine. We both restarted, remerged and I flamed him on the head-on pass. Easy throttle movements.

the Bi-1 and the Me-163 are rockets.
