Resetting the Ranks?

I just wanted to know if Ubisoft; Rainbow Six: Vegas were officially resetting the ranks because of the exploitation of the Countdown Glitch?

That would be incredibly stupid if they did. I'm only a Sergeant First Class, but ranking up takes too damn long for them to reset everyone. I probably won't see Elite as it is, and I've already played more adversarial games with random people than I wanted to.

After all the Time I spent ranking up.They had better not,this game WILL GO RIGHT BACK TO THE GAMESTOP, and I'll wait for Rogue Warrior...I worked hard to get where I'm at.I JUST made Sergeant First Class...I'm still a LONG way from even a Captain.

If they reset it, they should unlock all the gear so boosting becomes pointless. Because if all they do is fix Countdown, it'll just piss people off and there are plenty of other ways to boost your rank.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I don't think fixing Countdown would piss people off too much.

It would still only take them a minute 10.

I'm a captain right now, I have over 7500 kills and a kill death ratio of 3.62.

I've worked my *** off to get this rank, and these stats. In the end if a high ranker joins your game and he sucks you can tell he's a faker. What I want is for Ubisoft to fix the leaderboards already, those will show you who has glitched their rank up and who hasn't.

Why? im a Captain ive played it for 6 days with like not even 3-4 hours sleep max, straight. I have played 1 ranked match, all the rest are player matches, u CAN rank from player matches but it doesnt get recordered, so why would it show it?

I'm sure they wouldn't reset anyone's rank. Most people remember the rank glitch in Lockdown. Now that was a glitch, and you didn't even have to spend hours playing a missions over and over again. What you have in this game is just a way to get 200 xp four min. faster than a 5 min. survior match. As fas as I know they never fixed that glitch in Lockdown, and when they released the next installment, Critical Hour, the exact same glitch was there. Straight to the top in minutes. Anyways, I don't recall them ever resetting anyones rank.

I don't think ubisoft would risk resetting ranks. Cause those who got high legit and those who boosted will be pissed and most likely will never buy games from them again. In end lose sale of selling and lose some valued customers over something that don't even matter seeing rank don't make them better then anyone else.

also if a person is high rank and sucks it don't always mean they glitch CAUSE a person can still get high rank being on a good team playing 15-17 hrs a day. I will admit i used countdown once in a great time for the red camo BUT i still play games all the time too spending atleast 15-17 hrs a day lvling up the legit way. Only time i will ever do countdown is if my friends bribe me with stuff to do. I am happy as it is. I got the red camo. I could care less about the guns I have. Or the armor or the clothes i have. All I cared about from the start is the red camo cause that is my trademark on rbs games. In ever rbs game i play I always wear it.

I don't care if they fix the glitch or not cause honestly there is more important stuff they should work on then something so pointless. I am tired of seeing people booting people in the middle of rank games which should never be allowed in the first place. Not to mention how much that messes up the true skill rank and ****. I also am tired of all these gun noises going when no one is even shooting them.

Either who if they reset ranks I will still play but I will lose alot of respect towards ubisoft feeling sorry to those who put alot of effect and hrs of gameplay to achieve their ranks.
