Operation Frantic is the focus of the newly formed IL2 wing of the 79th Fighter Squadron. I am responding to you invitation on the general forum to my questions on the P-39 and am especially interested after reading your description.

I am definately mature, 51 and I use FB to relax and escape after work. I only recently started flying online after reading the forum and flying off line starting with Il2 and now FB for about a year.
I enjoy being more of a team player
I've never vulched and don't believe in it
I have a tendency to communicate first then fight.
I'm a middle level(?) sim flyer who is poor in combat,complex engine management, and flying on instruments alone, but has flown only "inside" the cockpit offline.
and the P-39 is what I want to fly.

I have no idea what being in a squadron entails other than group goals, cooperation, and mutual assitance to your squadron mates all of which I am willing to provide to the best of my limited ability. I'd be very interested in hearing more.
