need help I am stuck

On the first mission where you enter the jungle, Lambert says to meet with a guy. I dont see him. I go straight, their is water , I go throught the water and climb up, go to a zip line and walk farther, checkpoint. Then I see 2 guys talking about deer meat, I take them out and repel down a shaft, but I cant get down any farther. I usually dont look at statigies but they all say to meet with this guy and go into the villiage. I dont see any of this. This is for PS2... any help thanks
