"Launcher Application Has Stopped Working"

Hi, whenever I run settlers 7 i get the error message "Launcher Application Has Stopped Working".

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the launcher but this has not fixed the problem, how may i fix this problem?

i get the same problem ****in ubisoft technical support is useless i sent them every bit of info they would need and its been almost a week of them telling me to do useless ****in pointless **** that wastes my time.........
and you cant phone them because no ****in way im payin $2.4 a minute to talk to technical support when it should ****in be free
