Do you play to play or..??

you a trophies wh0re and doesnt play to enjoy it... i have a friend that has the number one trophies guy. and he is lvl 45 ??? something like that... lol i mean 45???? as for me .. i play this when ever i have time . while maintain a job, when im 26. lol whats about you guys.. im in the city that never sleeps. i play to play keeps me off the streets

I don't care about trophies.
The game didn't give me my 10-win streak trophy (It restarted after 8 for some reason), but I don't care at all. Maybe I will get it sometime...maybe I will never get it. It doesn't matter to me.
I play because it is a good mind game, and it gives me a break from my writing. It's a good game for when I can't play as well, as I can come up with strategies in my head when I am on the streetcar or something.
I hope that the game will gain a good community over time, so that someday in the future when I have a good PC I can continue to play it, even if the PS3 servers get shut down.

I play it for fun, and love it to death. I don't mind a good trophy, but gameplay > trophies any day (I just finished playing Valkyria Chronicles, and still go back to Civ Rev, two pre-trophy games).

I'm a bit of a games floozy though, so will only jump on RUSE in weekend mornings now, so I can get my MoH and then GT5 (well, maybe, if they ever release it...) on http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

wow tango.. lol i feel bad lol.. i got my 10 streak by not even goin for it... and i didnt realize till the sound pop at the end that it was my 10 wins... but whats i know and can tell you.. the wins carry over to the next day.. i didnt and cant play 10 games in a roll.. rank games a custom inbetween may mess it up, but it was like i play 3 games in a roll then got it.. so i guess the last 7 games i won too... but like you said the streak was not showing so it weird..

Aye, Civ Rev is epic, actually enjoy it for a 'quick Civ' more than Civ 4 (which is also epic). Deffo up for a game sometime http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. Kinda gone off PC gaming these days, so haven't got around to Civ 5, but will eventually I'm sure.

And they talked about a trophy patch for VC, but it never happened. Or at least hasn't happened yet, and given they've released a sequel and announced a third game, I'd assume it's not going to happen.

Joppsta - deffo recommend checking out VC one of these days. When this gen of consoles are down to $200 or so, I'm going to grab a 360 and check out the exclusives that interest me (which will also be cheap by then) - highly recommend doing the same with the PS3 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. And on the by, there are some other pretty damn good exclusives on the system as well, but worry about that when you've got one http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

I don't play for trophies...LMAO...BP_Charlie even noticed that I don't even sync my trophies very often...I don't even play to win...I play because of my love for strategy. I like chess and war is nothing but chess in a different form http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Besides, I have grown tired of FPS and fighting games..lol..
