In the SH3_E3DemoClip1 movie, after the destroyer fires the hedgehog, in the lower left of the screen is an orange ring that appears (or was there the whole time and only noticable when you get close to the destroyer) right before/during the time the hedgehog hits the water. It is only in view for a second or so but it caught my eye.

Any idea what that thing is?

I have a GREAT pic of it but it doesn't show up in photoshop (the screen is all black).

How do I take a desktop pic?

That orange ring is the position of you Uboat relative to the destroyer.

Its nice to locate your position when playing and using external camera viewing sea battles.

It is also of use if you are spectating on multiplayer. You find the circles and zoom to each others uboats.

So all in all its an aid for your camea should you have it switched on.

Hope that helped.

Ok, thx.

I thought that's what it might be but wasn't sure.

Kind of a nifty idea. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Try with "Print Screen" key in your keyboard. Then go to any graphical program, as photoshop or paint, and paste. You'll get the picture -most of the times.

I figured it out.

But the pics still showed up as all black after I saved them. Tried PS, PSP, and MS Paint. Oh well.

Got the info I was looking for.

Thx for the help though!

PrintScreen doesn`t capture pictures in some players. Try runing the video with different player.

Open it in Windows movie Maker, and use the "Take Picture" button, that looks like a camera, on the preview area. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
