Anyone else playing with this? I am using Fraps to capture the video and Windows movie maker to edit them. It works pretty good but they are bigish files at the compression ratio I prefer. The only thing I can't figure out is how to fade the volume at the end. Any ideas?

Here are a couple I made to figure out the software:

14meg- http://www.lizking.com/film.wmv
4meg- http://www.lizking.com/wingless.wmv

Excellent movies! I especially love "wingless". That flying sequence is awesome! Looks like that IL-2 is about to get chopped, though.

Nice movies, I've just started looking at this as well. I did my first little 'experiment' last week, with footage from an online coop mission.

I had the same problem with sound cutoff. But I really need a better movie program - I just used the 'windows movie maker', which doesn't allow you to do nice fades or transistions etc.

See what you think...

Its about 19Mb, 640x480 @ 700kbps. Just under 4 minutes long.

I like the potential from the software - it didn't take too long to get something fairly nice.

Nice work on the movies! I have also been trying this out with great results.

My question is ...where do you find a place to upload to on the net when the files are so big? Do you pay for such a site? Pls help, I'd like to show my movie too http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

To make the movie soundtrack fade out in moviemaker.
Right click the soundtrack in Audio/music and select fade out.

here is my pathetic attempt. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
