Check this one out, girls love him, highly amphibious, snores a bit, occassionally howls. You got any good gun dog shots?

Lovely hound there, old chum. They used to call me 'spaniel', you know.
Would love one of my own, but alas, my hectic lifestyle and irregular sleeping at home arrangements prohibit such a venture. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

This is indeed an odd forum. But, yes, Spaniels roxxorz. This is Sooty, a 1 1/2 year old English Cocker Spaniel. He is a known quantity at our local Home Depot as we are restoring a house.

Old boss used to bring his Field Spaniel to work, everyone spoiled her, but she wasn't demanding at all, pretty mellow (maybe because she was up in years) aside from running to everyone's desk in the morning to say hi, and get a scratch, she'd just hang out in front of a heater or A/C depending on the season.
Unfortunately he had to put her down due to illness.

A fine looking bundle of fun you have there Ploughman
Here's our guy on the right with two of his cronies

He's prone to waking from his sleep and howling and although he is getting better in the water he is more of a muck puddle and leaves hound than a water pup.

I have an 8 1/2 year old Springer Spaniel, but she looks and acts like a 2/3 year old puppy. I'll post a picture of her once ive uploaded some. She's from working stock and the 2nd biggest litter of Springers recorded, 13 altogether and all of them survived.

Awesome pics, dogs are the best. Haven't had a dog for awhile, but I had a Boxer for 14 years, very good times and a very sad day when we put her down. Dogs are the best.

Irish Wolf Hound. Sadly not mine, but one of my favourite breeds.

Old boss also had a great Dane for a time, first time I came in the office scared the c**p outta me, didn't expect a huge dog to pop around a corner.

I worked for a guy once that had an Irish Wolf hound - what an awesome dog! He was getting older and so had that hip problem that is common. The dog, not the guy I worked for. (As far as I know)
