Um... Alright..

I was in the middle of typing an apology to everyone - including you Kae - guess I was a bit short - when I tried to post it kicked me back out to the main page.

Now the threads gone. Did I break something?

It seams that someone deleted the entire thread topic.

I had a reply all typed out and ready to post, and I got a message saying "Topic is a mandatory field".

All well, I guess I should not ask the type of things that I was asking about.

Sorry everyone.

Same type of bug is occurring on the DRC boards so it's some kind of board issue, I think.

No no, Azimuth, you're right. So's mszv and kae. I was far to sharp about things. Kae, sometimes you come off really negative pal - like nothing in this game is good enough for you. I guess I took that personally. But y'all are right, I shouldn't get snappy - it's not cricket.

So once again, mea culpa. I'm sorry if I broke the thread, I was just trying to post my I'm sorry.

Im sorry if i ever came off harsh, so my bad, im sorry.

I know some of my posts on the the game might sound negative, but I only want this game to succeed and so i point out potential problems with potential fixes. Pointing out the flaws does sound bad and maybe i did a bad job in some cases, once again i appologize.

You know - it might have actually been bred more of my seven day work weeks with exams on top.

What do you say we shake on it, call it friends and that'll be that.

Also the next time I try to say something stupid, I get to shut up http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Fair? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Were cool, i like it better this way http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

i will continue to question aspects of the game i feel need tweaking, but i will do my best to make sure from now on they are as constructive and non deminatative (even a word?) as possible.

Once again i apalogize to ANYONE that was offended by any of my posts ( ill do better)

You know, Louis, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Alright. Well now that I've thoroughly embarrassed myself for the week, I can get on to other business http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I'll do my best to bring up the concerns brought up in the other thread (mszv and Azi) along with the technical bits (kae) in this week's mod meeting - maybe I can help this info work its way out and up.

Thanks for the gutcheck guys and gals.

demeaning.. diminutive..

Anyway http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

graham_614, it's a known bug with the forums. Happens to me from tiem to time. I find if I make another thread immediately afterwords on the same therad then delete that new thread, the old thread magically reappears.

Basically it happens when you post a really long message (sometimes). Although I've had it happen with shorter messages also.

There is the possibility of it being a bug in the forums, but I lean more towards someone deleting the thread. The original poster of that topic asked that the thread be deleted, and I think his request was granted. The thread was also derailed beyond recovery and contained some material that some might find objectionable (sorry again). I can understand why the thread disappeared, and I think it worked out for the best.

Well, if someone deleted I don't feel quite so bad. - Technically not my fault http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I can't help but think it had something to do with the rather vitriolic post I was about to make http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif If it's just a bug - alrighty - but I still think I might have broken something http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Azimuth, it is a bug in the forums I'm 100% positive about that. Nobody deleted it.

None of the moderators delete a post unless it is wholly inappropriate -- and then they will tell the person why they are deleting it. You will find we typically just edit out the inappropriate content.

Additionally, if an admin were to delete someones post they would do the same -- and if they were deleting am oderator's post htey would assuredly discuss this with us.
