How do I operate the alternate fire mode ? e.g.

I must have used every combination of keys to try to fire a gernade.

you can switch to grenades with the x key

check your player control list for alternative fire (?). Mine is bound to the X key but I don't know if this is the default (or if there is a defaultThis will change fire modes from rifle to grenade for the AG36 and single shot vs automatic fire on the M4.

I'm sure a veteran will be along shortly to tell it to ya straight!

yes, he is right, the "x" key will toggle between firing modes by default.

I sincerely hope you are asking for Single Player mode though, as nades are beginning to be the "hot topic" in many forum conversations these days.

You can read just about any post I've made to find out how I feel about nades and rockets...

Get good with bullets and you'll never touch a nade again.

What Storm said. But if it helps you get your game on in the MP ffa nadefest go for it. Eventually you'll find it's more fun to play without them though.
