Hi!
For the last few days I've been having a go at painting a scheme from a void. It's a Ju-87B-2 in the colours of 1./Stg3. (done before Im sure, but I have a nice colour plate of it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ). Here are some shots. I wonder if anyone has any tips or suggestions. Good or bad comments are welcome, its the only way I'll learn! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'm not expert so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The skin overall looks cool to me. The only thing I can say is it needs some dirtying up. It looks like its brand spanking new. Some stains from the exhaust intakes. Some stains maybe under and above the wing where the MG's might have been fired. Stuff like that.

It does look a little new, but colors, cammo, and markings look cool. Try using the airbrush tool with a light opacity layer to darken the areas around the panel lines a little and definitely some exhaust stains. I would also suggest a darkening layer to place over the entire skin.

First skin? I like it alot;nothing like a factory fresh plane that hasn't seen the frontlines. It' kinda like the hard to beat new car smell. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif My first skin (only one I took a shot at) got nicknamed drunken monkey. Why? Because I was pretty sure you could give a drunken monkey Photoshop, and it was bound to do better than what mine turned out as. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif. Now I let the pros do it and stick to getting them shot up.

Sorry, only just read the forums, check your email, you should have it slightly revised (I forgot to include the lettering under the wings). Hope you like it. I'll post some pics of my weathering attempt soon. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
