For all of the older R6 fans, how it used to be done! Graphics are on the old side now, but the overall theme and feeling you get from watching these vids, still makes you want to play a game like this again with an updated engine.

grr im so angry... I shouldve gotten into the rainbow six series before it started sucking..

You still can. If you can find a Ubi CounterTerrorism bundle, it includes R6, RS and SoAF all optimized to play on XP (SoAF was already playable on XP as it was).

Failing that, you might be able to come by the Rainbow Six Collector's Edition that comes with all of the RSE R6 series including Covert Operations Essentials (really cool).

It was epic. There really isn't any other word for it. It was the best this franchise has ever been.

This really is the indisputable best Rainbow 6 game (Raven Shield come close), I know a lot of us old timers on here harp on about it, the reasons why are still clearly seen in those videos, the games really were better! even though the graphics are now heavily dated.

haha Rogue Spear was indeed the best game in the world, acctually it still is the best game, there are currently 97 people on the gamespy lobby, www.spear-gaming.com (http://www.spear-gaming.com) is the community site, check it out on how to get involved and start playing, theres always fun games going on... peace

K thanks lol. I will admit when I first got on these forums all i heard were people mentioning older R6 titles. Then I really saw them by videos like this and now I know why you guys are so ****ed. The older games were great.

Even the gunshots sound more real than Vegas too bad I got into Rainbow with R6 3 and I didnt even have Xbl either well at least I didnt buy lockdown or critical hour.
