ok maybe this is the better place to ask? uhh so this is crazy but i got heroes V to work on my laptop with an imbedded 64 mb graphics card (so its probably running at like 12 mb)
.5 mghz processor
.5 ram
my question is: if i buy another stick of ram (1 gb) will it speed up the gameplay enough to make it run at a bearable pace? right now its isanely slow. mostly in fights, but everywhere it lags really bad and its just sooo damn frustrating. heroes IV works on my laptop.. but who wants to play IV when you've got V?!

you would be better off upgrading your video card

yes i did mean 500 mghz. so youre saying if i upgrade the ram it'll still lag? 500 mghz is NOT too slow to play heroes 5. as i've been playing it.

i still think you would be better upgrading your vid rather than your memory .. if it was me i would get .5 gigs and a 256meg video card .. but honestly your money would be best spent in the long run to just get a new laptop ..

It would be better to get a desktop for gaming, you get a more powerful computer for the money http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

i agree i do need to get a desktop. im just looking for a quick fix for the current situation. so i can kick some fantasy-based ***.i also briefly entertained the thought of getting a new laptop.... but right now i'll probably end up getting a new video card, if possible. anybody have suggestions for websites like newegg.com?
