Well, like many of you, I recently purchased LOMAC and was excited to get it set up. Well, I installed it today and for some reason, the game would attempt to start and I would hear the radio chatter..only to be dumped back to my desktop. Now, this is really strange to me since I was a beta tester and had several alpha and beta versions installed and this never happened. Anyway, I played the uninstall game and added the XP patch for the CD rom and the safedisk patch with still no joy. I was installing it to a different directory (to my D drive since my hard drive is partitioned), but I didn't think that would be a problem. Well, I installed to the default directory and it loaded up with no problems. I got home tonight, uninstalled and tried it again to my D drive and the same problem, CTD upon start up. So, for what it is worth, try installing it to the default path and see if this helps any of you.
