This is the puzzle inside the pyramid. I don't understand anything except that the button revolves the stone and makes it dark/light and toggles the symbols on the floor. I looked at that bright tapestry in the temple with the 3 pyramids, 3 circles, etc. and am still stumped.
Can someone give me a hint? Am I correct in thinking that the tiles with symbols on them are buttons? Or is there another input device that I haven't noticed?

The puzzle is actually a lot simpler than it looks.
Yes, the button lets in light onto the tiles, then shuts the light off again when pressed a second time.
Go to the Kadish Gallery. The relevant clue is not the revolving symbols but rather the window opposite the set of three windows giving the hints for the first puzzle.
First note the bottom - it shows something that looks like the third puzzle building, in three states. No light, light on, and light off again. So you should turn the light on and wait a little while before turning it off again (a minute or so). Notice anything different? This is a puzzle you need to do with the lights off.
Second, there is a symbol on the window that you may notice when you are in the hexagon room.
How might you apply that symbol to crossing the floor?
Oh, and in case you hadn't guessed - not only are the brown symbols totally irrelevant, the doors are as well.

Okay, I've tried walking the tree symbols in every way by now. Either I'm an idiot or my game is broken somehow. Just to make sure, someone please point out the path using the following image as reference.

OK; I finished this puzzle. But I still don't understand the logic behind it.
Why were some of the tree-looking symbols (ex. 22) skipped?
And was the whole point of the window in the Temple the little tree symbol on top?

Some of the "tree looking symbols" are actually mushrooms, not trees. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Kadish puzzle number three... I finally finished this one because of the directions from a previous post here. AussieMystic spoke about a window in the hexagon room. I looked around and found no window. The rotating ball from above had no patern either open or closed. There are no other windows in this room. There is a golden squiggle line in the ceiling but that pattern does not mimic the solution. I am begining to believe there are two different versions of URU on the store shelves.

SG_Coyote, the window I was referring to is the window in the Kadish Gallery.
When I said "There is a symbol on the window that you may notice when you are in the hexagon room", I meant a symbol on the window IN THE GALLERY that you may notice in the hexagon room", meaning on the floor of the hexagon room. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
Sorry for the confusion!

I was beating my head over this forever as well... I happened to just be pushing the button a few times and the room turned to the bluish color... but then I was trying to figure out how to cross it using the the patterns from the pillars labeled from 1-7 in D'ni... Wasted lots of time writing down where each of the 3 rotating symbols above the 7 pillars were and everything. Needless to say once I found a post regarding it on the message boards I realized how complex I was trying to make it. Now I can not go back into the room and not see the path of trees.
