Slightly blurry scan of the article. It's in the UK Playstation magazine (not sure if it's the Playstation 2 or Playstation 3 one, but I'd guess PS3)
All I can say is, thank you Free Radical. I don't care what format it is being released on, I will buy whatever console it's on, even if that means spending £425 on a PS3.
Just please, please keep R One-Oh-Seven in the game, I just couldn't bear not being able use him in the multiplayer, he's by far the coolest TS character.

Hey, great stuff nu_ignition. Now that is a lot more official - I wonder if the head honchos of FRD are working on the concept while the teams beaver away on Haze/LA project. Seems like it.
Fan-tas-tic news! Oh, and I've got two words for you guys: Map Maker. As someone on another forum wrote - 'imagine Little Big Planet... with guns!'
You know it's the right thing to do...

excuse me but what's the point in posting such a topic? i mean, what are the moderators doing?
first i really dont understand the rules here, they really make no sense, and it looks like moderators are never online, and only here to do a bad job: no offense but so many things need to be changed!
i mean, please mature up, for instance why wasn 't a global topic about timesplitters created? plus this is news, there could be a news topic!!!
im sorry to say but what mods do here, i call it a bad job http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Thank you very much for sharing your 'mature' and 'qualified' opinion. Way to go making your first post in the forums!
So, you understood the terms and conditions that you agreed upon when registering for the Ubisoft forums and now all of the sudden you don't understand the rules posted? They are just excerpts of the rules you declared you understood when creating your account - done the same day you made this first post - and some additional common sense comments and guidelines. Besides, it is already stated in that thread that if something is not clear, you can ask us via PT to clarify.
Just because we don't post all the time, doesn't mean we are not here and don't see what's going on.
As for our job, we know very well how to do it and what is to be done and what is not, rest assured - thank you for your 'relevant insights'. I suggest you take a look once again at the part of the rules that refers to mod bashing, because clearly you skipped that part.
In the future, if you have something relevant to add to the topic of the thread in which you are posting on, do so- otherwise, please refrain from hijacking the topic and mod bashing.
Thanks.

Metadeshante:
Moderators have lives to you know, we can't be here day and night. This is a voluntary job, so most of us need a "day job" to support ourselves.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif However we do check the forums on a daily basis, so no need to feel so alarmed. As my colleague said, just because we do not always post does not mean we are not here watching.
I can assure you that those who are in charge and do get paid, the community managers, would not ask those who they think aren't fit for the job. And after two years of moderating other forums, the community managers know very well what our qualifications and abilities are.
My colleague said everything else that needed to be said on this matter.

Don't know what his problem with the thread is anyway - it seems perfectly appropriate to me, (bearing in mind it's a Haze forum, but until FRD have their own forums, where else would you put it?).
I wonder when the official announcement will be made by FRD? /checks site/ ...not yet.

and since almost everyone on this forum waiting for haze loves timesplitters theres no problem with it at all!
on topic:
ive just read that ts4 might become a ps3 exclusive. I dont know if thats a good thing even tough i have a ps3 and i dont like xbox but all timesplitters fans are friends so even the ones on xbox http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

That can't be more than a guess at this point, and I see no reason for it (or the counter-argument) to be given any credence at the moment. Don't go there! We'll find out in due course. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Timesplitters experienced its greatest success in TS2, which was the first multiplatform TS game. Free Radical would simply be silly to not keep TS4 multiplatform- and by multiplatform, I mean not only the PS3 and 360, but the PC as well, for us fans of the mice (meh, the PC version should have a mouse parody of the monkey).

Dave Doak is interviewed in the latest ish of OPM:
We've been hassling you to release a downloadable, 1080p, online-enabled version of Timesplitters 2 for Playstation Network. Do you think it will ever happen?
Ummm... lobby Sony! I really don't know how much it would cost.
Sounds a bit of a pipe-dream, but great idea! Those OPM guys really love 'splitters...
DD also says re: the new game:
Q: And do you think [The New Timesplitters] will be more like TS2 than TSFP?
A: If EA isn't involved, then probably, yes!

We do have a newer TS 4 thread on the go, but it's not titled very appropriately and the guy who made it isn't here very often either, so this seemed the best place for this:
Fourth 'splitters game info
...on a recent visit to the developer's studio we learnt that massive PC and 360 hit Bioshock has had an impact on the game's design too. According to Free Rad's co-founder and managing director Steve Ellis, "Playing Bioshock confirmed that we're doing things right." He went on to add that, "Our big challenge at the moment isn't in determining the concept of the game - we're very happy with the direction that we've chosen (more like TS2 than Future Perfect) - it's carefully picking a publisher that won't try to turn TS4 into another run-of-the-mill single-player story-based FPS."
There's also a preview of Haze and a look back at Timesplitters 2 in the latest issue of OPSM, #11 UK, and this shot:

lol! So has anyone else any idea what the mention of Bioshock could mean? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif Weird as all hell... well I'm sure they know what they're doing and what needs to go in the game, *ahem, Mapmaker!, Challenges, etc, sniff, cough* Any suggestions on a publisher might also come in useful for the Furry boys...
