The tomb raider forum I go to is having a Christmas competition where everyone edits this render of Lara for Christmas:

the opacity of the text is minimal. It looks barely noticeable :P

I love the Princess Lara snow thingy, I wish i could 'shop that good.

As for the sigs, I definitely do like the lower opacity text better. It blends a little more making the whole thing come together better than the other one.
