Need help

I keep having problems with the game ending in an error something about IP address? It happens at the start middel or when I end a patrol. Any thoughts of this?

Can you please post a screenshot of what it looks like? Is it in single player or online?

Thanks its in single player and all that happens is the screen goes completely black for just a few seconds (I know whats going to happen and sure enough) and then the game shuts down and the error comes up. I just finished playing it doing not to bad hit Esc to end the patrol and then ask to go back to base and that's when I get the error game now not runnig at all the error askes if I want to send re the error I do and have to start the game right from the main menu. very frustrating.

Now and then I have had such crashes when using any of the six buttons in the lower right part of the "Crew and Damage Management" F7-screen. Since I have learnt not to use them, but allocate the crew members in the other ways (manual page 23), I have not had any crashes more. I am running version 1.4 without any mods. Is it perhaps your problem too?

I tried it a few more times last night and I had saved the game so I played longer kept saving and got to the base and hit Esc return to dock game shuts down time after time Message comes up -- Silent hunter III has encounterd a problem and needs to close.We are sorry... I keep playing grid BE63 and keep getting shut down. I don't have problems with any other keys so far.
