Go here \Heroes of Might and Magic V\profiles\default
and open the user.cfg if you have one if you don't create one.
If you have the cfg try setting this settings to setvar adapter_to_use = 0
If you don't try adding this to your cfg after creating it.
setvar adapter_to_use = 0
setvar gfx_register_resolution = 1
setvar gfx_resolution = 800x600
also if you didn't do this try this:
-install latest driver or if you have the lastest try an older one.
-try setting the refresh for your monitor to a fixed number.(75 is best).
-make sure you have you monitor driver installed.(that means it should be displayed when you right click on your desktop and go to settings - there it should be displayed someting like your video card on monitor ex:fx5900xt on samnsung 755dfx).

I tried the thing with the .cfg and my drivers are 81.94 also i have instaled my monitor driver nothing seems to work i don't know what is the problem with geforce cards 6600gt because i saw some posts thatpeople with the same video card have this problem

If you still have the cd that came with the video card try installing those. Sometimes helps sometimes it doesn't.
I've seen the game runing both on a 6600gt pcie and agp.

Perhaps now if you disable some things in the cfg it will work.
