I thought you guys might want to see this 78th FIghter Group skin as well...

"This P-47D-25RE, serial number 42-26635, flew with the 82nd Fighter Squadron, 78th FIghter Group and was piloted by Lieutenant Howard Scholz, and displays his personal insignia, including one air and one ship kill. This plane bears a olive drab over natural metal finish, but other sources state that the finish could either be US Medium Green or RAF Dark Green over Sky. ID stripes on tail surfaces are outlined in black. Includes an unmarked version."

Yes...its like a bug, isn't it...hehehehe http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Thanks for the compliments, guys, they are appreciated very much.

Man I can remember when I first experimented with skinning...back when I still played Jane's WWII FIghters. It seems almost like another lifetime, when I was pushing pixels around in MS Paint. </wistful smile>

Yes, very nice indeed Goodwood! It certainly was a very cool paint scheme, so I can't blame ya for wanting to update it. Plus, I suck at weathering the undersides, so I think your update is great. Good job! <img src=http://www.blitzpigs.com/forum/images/smiles/Thumbsup2.gif>
