Its allways like this when you are new to a forum. Everybody are allways an *** to newcomers. But soon you will probably addapt to the forum and you wont get burned by all the users.

Dont take it personal but it is quite funny. I mean look in Splinter Cell 4 - General Discussion and you will see that about 70 % of the threads "Topic Starter" has the name slit1neck2speed on the threads http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif .

I dont hate you and I dont think anybody else here hates you. Though I think you might want to cut down on positng new threads mate http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif .

try to cut down on all the threads and find a way to put everything that you want to say in one thread.

Here's what you should do:

Make one thread-Ways to improve SC4

Then list your ways in the same post of the same thread, don't make a new thread for each idea.

heres why. your spamming with post after post after post. STOP MAKING SO MANY THREADS.

And don't forget to use the "Search" function first.
Also FAQ's and sticky's are ment for newbies.

has anyone else noticed how "newbie" has become one of the top insults online. no offence but that is sad, its like saying the F'er or A hole to someone online now adays.

Definition of the term SPAM:

Unwanted, irrelivent, and ultimatly useless information in the form of email messages and in this case, threads in a forum. To be accused of SPAMMING on a forum means one has turned a blind eye toward forum ediquette. The accused is therefore guilty of creating multiple theads that are deemed by many members to be useless and a waste of forum resources. Most importantly, do searches to see if what your posting has already been discussed.

Consequences of the term SPAM:

One accused of such action will often face critizism from other members within the forum envrionment. "Flamming", is a common word used to describe the critizism one might envoke uppon a user who SPAMS.
Also, depending on the degree of the amount of SPAMMING, the accused might find themselves warned by the site administrater or even, and quite often, banned from the forum all together.

Ways to avoid SPAMMING

Post only information that you deem crutial to the progression of the forum activities.
Read though other peoples posts carefully. Study posting style and forum ediquette. This will cut down your "noobie" status as well as allow you to see what has already been posted. Therefore, you are able to avoid reposting a topic (more spam).

And most importantly, learn to live and forgive those who we all refer to as "noobies". Of course theyre stupid and still learning the ropes. But it is posts like this one that try to shine a light and show our noobies the way to Posting-awesomeness.

Flaming. Crucial.

Otherwise, a good concise explanation. It's unfortunate I missed Mr. Spammer in action. That would have been fun.

I think he deserves to be cut some slack considerring he is new. Nothing worse than joining a forum and feeling like everyone hates you.

There are rules on this forum, and the ydefinitely need to be followed, but I think it's important to lighten up on the newer members.

We don't hate you, we just want you to follow the rules. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

There's a difference between being new on the board, and being new+******ed on the board. You'd think most people know how to behave. Treating any person with a low post count like they're new to the internet is pretty stupid, and usually overkill.

People might accept you if you weren't such a thread wh0re. Ease up on starting a new thread every three minutes and people won't hate you. Maybe, no promises though.
