Hey all,

My internet alias is Randy Shughart, but the name seems to be registered here already, so I registered under my real name. Anyways, I'll get right down to the point.

As soon as the SDK is released, I plan to start a modification called At What Cost. It isn't a permanent title, but it's something until I can think of something better. The mod will be a 3-campaign singleplayer mission, loosely based on Call of Duty's SP style. The campaigns will include a Russian, American, and, unlike CoD, a German campaign.

The first campaign will focus on the Russian Front, Stalingrad in particular. But this won't be the Stalingrad you've seen before. This will focus on dirty, teeth-grinding street fighting. I hope to capture the atmosphere Stalingrad was known for, being called the "Stalingrad Street Fighting Academy." You will be a Russian veteran who has fought in many different locations, even during Operation Barbarossa, the German invasion of the Soviet Union. You will be leading a small squad of conscripts through the city's shells of buildings.

The second campaign will begin on December 16th, 1944 at the beginning of the Battle of the Bulge. You will be a 90-day-wonder lieutenant from the 99th Infantry Division in command of a small platoon of infantry, and your objective will be to hold your position at all costs.

Last but definitely not least, the last campaign of the mod will be from the perspective of a German lieutenant during the Battle of Berlin. That's all I choose to reveal at this point.

Please reply in this topic or, more preferrably, send an e-mail to SpadeStudios@gmail.com if you have any questions, comments, or if you are willing to offer your services as a modder. Thank you for taking the time to read this obnoxiously long post.

I don't think so. It's not that I don't like the British, but I just don't know that much about their part in the war. I know about the larger battles, but I don't have the in-depth knowledge of them that I do about Stalingrad, the Battle of the Bulge, and Berlin.

Fantastic idea, I'm not the brainy type to be able to assist, but an idea after watching Bridge at Remagen the other day as it seemed to be quite a pivotal moment during the fight across Germany to fight for and hold a major brige. Another idea what about the major landings at Omaha as in Medal of Honour and battling your way inland.

German Final Mission In Berlin Idea.... The True story of King Tiger No. 314 and it's crews heroic story to try to save Berlin.

On the 30th April, Untersharfuhrer Georg Diers and his crew of tank 314, were ordered to take up a defensive position at the Reichstag buildings. This was one of only two remaining King Tigers belonging to Heavy SS Tank Battalion 503 in Berlin. By that evening they had knocked out about 30 T34's, and the following day led a successful counterattack against the Kroll Opera House directly opposite the Reichstag. Their efforts though, merely postponed the inevitable and by the end of the day the order was given to abandon the position and prepare to break out of Berlin.

Please give me a feedback on this event. It might be a great end mission. I am a major WWII History Buff, and would **** to help this project in any way possible. I am an expert on the history and details of the German Wehrmacht, and had relitive serve on the Eastern and Western Fronts. Please email me at tymclaren@earthlink.net

A great title for this game instead of "At What Cost".... you should title this game "For Blood and Honour", or just "Blood and Honour". It is a general code of warfair and a wartime german slogan "Blut und Ehre". IDK I would definitly by a game of that Title...
