Screen turning black but HUD still visible

I've installed GRAW, and i'm having the following problem.

Sometimes most of the screen turns black, with only HUD and a few textures visible. Enemies and such cant be seen.

Im runng the game on the following:
AMD X2 AM2 6000+ (3GHz)
8GB RAM
8800GT 512.
Vista Ultimate 64bit

All hardware is running the latest software.

Any suggestions ?

i had this same problem, i was running 2.4 P4 1.12 GB ram, and had a ATI Radion 9250 SE. I updated still have the 2.4 Ghz P4, but added a gig of ram and got a ATI saphire X1650 SE now it works just fine, dont know what i did though. It should work great on your comp.
