It looks nice.
There is not enough game content to convince me
to purchase Chaos Theory.
Just having Sam walk around a small chunk of beach at night, doesn't show very much.
I had Sam shoot at some rocks. When the gun is moved, the aiming reticule jerks across the screen. This indicates a bad program. The small amount of actions in the demo indicates concealment of a bad program. Your competitors offer more.

You do realize there's more to the level than a beach? Like, you climb up the rocks, cross a bridge, go under ground, go up a light house, pass like 20 guards?

Dont pay attention to him! He is a SC n00blet and the biggest one to appear here. Maybe you should download the original SC demo cos this is less complex. The reticule jumps around cos of the recoil. A gun n00blet and an SC n00blet http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Guys, this is obviously a joke, I mean come on, can anyone actually miss, literally, the entire other 9/10ths of a demo? Even though it's a joke, it's a pretty funny one...

i personally advise Mr. t_rand to play the first two games and try Splinter Cell Chaos Theory :P then he will come to know how much he missed in the SC:CT demo itself http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

well it may be hard for some NON-sc fans, ... but cmon think ... who will EVER bring out a DEMO with just a lil peace of land to walk in circles?!, and the big size of it (600mb) does say that it MUST be more than that lil beach

I doubt the competition can do it much better that this game

the demo shows enough, its an entire mission, all the moves are possible

and about that crazy size? The demo has the sound files of the entire game, thats why its 600 mb.

The demo showed enough to convice that is most definitly worth to get, and the aiming reticule doesnt jerk around the screen, if you move, it shows area the bullet will go so if you move with your gun, it will be less accurate, most to that these days.

Sounds to me, that SC just aint your type of game.

Why Echo? You have been a newb once, Should I feel bad for your parents now?

Everyone has been a newb, There's no point in denial.
Calling other people newbs just because you know things better than them, is plain ignorant.

Sorry.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Ah, I know you're right, and I know I shouldn't flame. Maybe we should help him out?

Listen, kid, from where you start on the beach, head north (i.e the lighthouse should be on your left side. At the cliff face there, on the left(ish) side, there should be a walkway cut ito the cliff that you can take up. Continue along as it get's tighter, and eventually you'll come to the end.

There's a crawlspace here, press SPACE to go through. In the next area, there's 2 guys, so have some fun with them.

If I'm wrong, someone correct me.

OK everybody enough. We had some laughs but it's over. Maybe he's just started playing games recently and he's not familiarized with how things work in Splinter Cell - it's not an easy game for begginers.

t_rand, in case you haven't found out by now, you can climb the rock pathway that's just behind the place where you start off. There's a cave in there. Crawl in and then crawl out (just press the "use" button when the games tells you to) and then jump to grab onto the higher rocks and you'll be inside the greenlit cave. You can see a bridge here. Wait a few seconds and you'll hear 2 guards coming inside the cave also, but from the other side of the bridge.
From here on i think you can handle it yourself, i don't want to spoil the fun. just press the key you've asigned to the "use" command to grab people when you're behind them.
Just remember : Right-click is always non-lethal and left-click is always lethal, no matter in wich context you'll use them.

Have fun!
