Looks like a cross between an F-4 Phantom, and an F/A-18 Hornet. They say its the same as a Hornet but stronger. I doubt that.
We are so going to kick the Iranian's asses in World War 3. I can't wait.

Maybe the next Ghost Recon will feature Iran as the enemy.

You're looking forward to a third World War?
Maybe the next Ghost Recon will feature Iran as the enemy.
I doubt it, this is due to the fact of political barriers.
Before you ask, I don't thing GRAW fell under political barriers because Ubisoft created a fake Rebel Militia, I don't think they ever specifically called them Mexicans.

I also doubt that. The F-18 will probally be gone once Iran gets their new jets in full production, the F-35 will have taken over by then I think.
That's my 2 cents.

No I'm not looking forward to it, I just know that it's getting close. If you piece everything together in the news about Iran, US, Isreal, Palestine, North Korea, Syria, Pakistan etc, you'll see that it's only a matter of time before it happens. Iran says they want to "wipe Isreal off the face of the Earth". Pentagon says they have a 3 day airstrike plan to wipe out the entire Iranian military. Isreal says "if the US doesn't stop Iran's nuclear program, then we will." Bin Laden yesterday called for all Taliban and Al Queda to go to Pakistan and remove the president. CIA reports that the Taliban are leaving Afganastan and going to Pakistan. Pakistan has nukes, if the terrorists get it, game over. North Korea is negotiating with the US, but are suspected of selling nuclear technology specs to Syria. It's all a big chess game over there in the Middle East. Just a matter of time before the **** hits the fan.
I strongly believe Iran is the 800lb gorilla over there, and they will be the major power we will be fighting.
The F/A-18 SuperHornet won't go away anytime soon. That plane will still be use for a long long time. Sure the F-35 will start taking over, but just like the F-14, A-10, and F-15and F-16, the F/A-18 will be around for a while.

I didn't write clear enough, sorry. I meant that the F/A-18 wont be the Main fighter.
Sorry about that. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif

I agree, It's coming, oh God is it coming, but I don't think it should be discussed here.
It states clearly in the ToU that political threads or others of that nature are not allowed, So let's try and keep this about the plane, and not the upcoming war.
Thanks.

Maybe, if Redstorm were to do a future Ghost Recon, with U.S. vs Iran, they could use that plane in one of the missions.
Objective: destroy the Iranian jets, aquire all intel on the jets, and sabotage the database containing the jet's specs.
Secondary Objective: Complete Primary with out detection.
Obviously they could change the name of Iran to something similar, for politial reasons of course.
