Why is it that you are able to reload the M1 Garand in the middle of a clip? This is not correct. It was one of the two biggest drawbacks the Garand had..you had to empty the clip before reloading.

It can be done. You pull back action and hold with right hand while gun is pointing to the left.
Put your left hand over breech/magazine and with left thumb hit the magazine release..it comes out...just not as fast as in game.
It is true and accurate.

Yea I own a Garand..and it can be done...but I dont think they would waste there time in a battle to do that.

Guess I'll post this here also. From Don Burgett WWII 101 vet on Mark Bando's website:
I nearly always counted my shots mentally and never paid attention to a ping. In heavy fighting and if you have a few slack seconds and you had counted your shots and you know you are down to maybe two rounds left in the rifle, eject those two rounds and put in a fresh clip of eight rounds. It may save your life when in a couple of more seconds the fire fight gets heavy again.

You can do it. I own 4 M1s, and I can record me doing that if someone will host it...

this is true, but it was hard, and you lost the rounds left in the clip.
