CRC install problem - need maps.smo file

When I reach the second part of the tanker mission, all sound dies except for people walking around and some other random stuff.

I tried reinstalling and remembered that I ingored a CRC installation problem saying my medium is corrupted and it only points at the maps.smo file.

If anyone knows where I can find this file, please let me know.

I'm no expert, but I'd like to try to help!

Go to where you installed it.

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent\SCDA-Offline\Sounds

That's where it is for me. There is a file in there called MAPS.SMO.

That's where it is, anyhow. Hope this helps!

Yup, I see it there too. But the installer said it does not match what is in the .cab file. I ignored this, so I'm thinking the file is corrupted. If I could find the proper file somewhere, I could replace it and it might work.

I'm going to try emailing Ubi support and seeing if they can possibly get that file to me.

If all else fails, I'll find a way to give it to you (as I said I'm no expert), but hopefully Ubi will give it to you.
