Story Mode

Naruto, i hope they arent making him the only playable chracter. if so the story mode will be freaking short and 80 episodes will actually turn out to be what, 40-50. There will be so many fights missing, espcially the Garra vs Sauske fight and much more

I'm almost positive he is the only playable character, but i have a feeling they will make this a fairly long game( i mean there is so much potential).

i was watching one of the preveiws, and saw a little scene with kiba fighting negi. they might let you do other fights. plus, they let you use other people in the vs battles, why not in the chunnin exams and stuff too?

they should have it so once you beat the game once, you unlock a secret that lets you play as any character you want, and roam around as they.

by the looks of some vids i think that you play as naruto during the main game and all but some fights with other characters will be played for example since naruto doesn't fight against zabbuza i thnk that you'll fight him with kakashi so on.

naruto is the only chracter but you can play others in online play (xbox live).

maybe not, there have been screens of Sasuke vs Haku so that implys that you can play as others during story for the fights that Naruto is not in

I agree because there are screens for battles that naruto isn't in like u have to face haku with sasuke before u play as naruto

Ive already asked this question, Will you be able to play as other characters through the stroyline or solemnly naruto. If soo, will you be as naruto in the stands/watching or will it just 'tell what happened'. And btw

no but there is a screenshot of sasuke being inside hakus dome of mirrors speaking and by the looks of it you fight her as sasuke then naruto and how do you explain rock lee being playable and naruto doesn face rock lee

no i think that you will get to fight as the other characters too. BUT if you dont then i think ubi will add the ABSOLUTE CRAZIEST CUT SECENS EVER!!!!!!!!! that show the fight in great detail which could be kinda cool.

this is going to be an insanely long game i saw in a preview somewhere that the first 4 missions take up the first hour of the game
and you have to spend like half an hour to open up the stores and other missions

well actually sakura gets pretty sick in naruto shippuuden which in case you didnt know is when they become older and in the manga which is farther ahead sasuke is alomst if not on da same level as itachi. Just 2 let you kno tho it won be eng dub till like late next year or early 2009

Yeah we all believe you are the number one fan now stop spamming/double posting and please get back on topic...Now back on topic, I haven't seen too many cutscences but I do think they'll be very very cool (like the zabuza and haku arc?). I'm really looking forward to the story mode fights (If the rock lee vs. gaara is available in the story mode you'll obviously be Gaara which is uncool)

There's no need to be Gaara, they could made the fight till Lee uses the 5 gates and defeat the gaara replication, and then put a cutscene... like when Naruto fights Kakashi... you have to win, and then Kakashi turns into a replacement wood.

Yeah...but I guess it wouldn't be so satisfying that you almost beat him to see a cutscene where you get Owned...well that's IMO

well from the achevmeints iv seen naruto will be the only char playable in the story but not in the other modes

That's because most of the game you will be naruto except for the short ammount of non-naruto-related-important fights

ubisoft wanted to tell a story with this game and that story is about naruto and though i would like to play as others in the campaign the story is realy about Naruto

Sakura starts off pretty well, being the best at chakra control and being the first to the top of the tree. Then she starts being scared and not fighting, she had a spur of the moment in the Forest of Death vs. Kin and after that she became nearly useless. After she goes off with Tsunade and becomes a medical ninja, her Medical Skills are almost unreplacable. And she becomes extremely strong in Shippuuden being able to beat... well... I'll stop there.

I'm not a Sakura fan whatsoever, I don't really like her. Just stating the truth.
