XBOX: 360 "Disk Unreadable"

Ok guys. I know theres other posts about the same subject... However, theres no posts that have anything to do with XBOX: 360 AC2 giving the "Disk Unreadable" error message when I try and enter the area "The Mountains".

I havent finifshed this game... Ever since I was allowed to enter "The Mountains" i've been getting that error. I've tried cleaning the disk, and restarting the console. And cleaning the disk again... And again...

All I want to know. Is, is this a problem with the disk, the game on the disk. Or my XBOX: 360
(This doesnt do this with any other game by the way, I also get random freezing. The game will stop for a few seconds then start again normally in the same position that it stopped in, random but not a problem)

When I said other game. I didn't mean another AC2 disk. I meant to say other games. Like every other game I own.

Hey there i also have this problem Although ive never been able to enter the mountains once i tried what the one guy suggested by deleting game data and starting again replayed for about 12 hours and got the same crappy disk unreable error this is extremely frustrating as i have redone the game twice with no finish .

oh yeah i forgot to mention in my previous post that i went out and bought a new copy of the game even though the first one had literally no scratches on it and my xbox is only 8 months old http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
